How to shoot a fish with a spear First of all you need a nice spear and sling with some strong rubbers on it and a nice grip so it doesn’t slip when you pull it. You need to find a nice spot out in the water somewhere where the water is not murky so you can see the fish, and a spot where the waves are low so you can see if the DOE are coming. The best spot to go is like out by the reef or any big rocks in the water because that’s where you’ll find the fish. All you have to do is swim with your spear in hand ready to shoot any fish you see. Once you see the fish you want you just dive down to the fish and try not to frighten them. Once you can get a clean shot take it. After you shoot the fish you have to swim to the fish quickly and grab it before it gets off the spear. Then you take him off the spear and put him on the line.

So this weekend I went fishing with my friend Daniel and his three cousins. We went fishing out by the key out by barker’s beach. We woke up at about 5:00 am that morning and headed out to launch the boat. We reached out by the key at about 5:45 am, once we reached we began fishing and had caught couple fish before we decided to go to a next spot. When we got there we immediately started catching fish. Caught about 10 fish by the time daylight started breaking then the fish started to stop biting at that spot, we decided to take ah a big chance and try to catch some fish in a marine park not too far from rum point. We reached the marine like around 9:30 and as we threw our lines in the water the fish started biting. We caught all kinds of fish, snapper s, groupers, hog fish and several other types. I told Daniel to tell his cousin we should move and go to a next spot, as we were almost half way to our next spot I heard the engine starting to make a funny noise, so I told them to let’s just go in to shore. Before I could even finish talking the engine shut out, we were out the stranded with one phone that was dead :(
